TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS TO INFORMATION MODULES IN REFERENCE BOOKS OF “MAXIMOV PUBLICATIONS”

ATTENTION! MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Full tone areas and images adjacent to the sides must protrude over the edge at 5 mm from the cut on each side.
Text and important elements must be placed no nearer than 7 mm from the sides of the cut size.
Back cover elements adjacent to the sides must project the cut size at 17mm from left, right and bottom.

File Formats (General Requirements)
Layouts are accepted in the format of Adobe Illustrator EPS (version 7.0). All fonts must be converted to outlines, all colors must be converted to CMYK model, all halftone (raster) images must be separated (it means that CMYK must be in TIFF format) and included inside the files, black text must not include admixtures of other colors (CMYK 0-0-0-100).
Resolution of halftone raster images must be 300 dpi.
Higher resolution will not provide with better quality of printing, and will just enlarge the file size in vane.  Line images (black & white images) must have 600 — 800 dpi. resolution.
Word files can be considered only as text, but not as a ready layout.
Texts are accepted of MS Word 6.0/Office95 formats.

Parameters for halftone images color separation:
Total ink limit – 300%, maximum black ink limit – 98%

It is obligatory to have a printed copy (printed on laser printer) of the final variant of the layout, signed by a responsible person.
Carriers: CD, DVD, USB-Flash.
You can send layouts up to 3Mb to the e-mail address of working with you manager.
